Seeing Eye Dog

I was visiting my niece at the Ronald McDonald House a few days ago. By the way I cannot say enough good things about the Ronald McDonald House in Providence, RI. The supervisor was there with her seeing eye dog. He (the dog) was not working, so my daughter and I could pet him. He was a beautiful Black Lab, I have a beautiful Yellow Lab. He was just as playful as Gracie, my Yellow Lab, because he was not on his harness. I think Gracie is smart enough to be a seeing eye dog, but at this point I could never let her go. It did make me start thinking of using her as a therapy dog. She is still full of energy and mischief, but there is hope there. She is great when she is on her leash, the problem is when she is not on her leash.
